Job Description

  • Lead manufacturing operations across one or multiple sites
  • Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance (SQDC)
  • Develop and execute operational strategy and capacity planning
  • Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with supply chain, engineering, and quality leadership
  • Manage plant leadership teams and develop succession pipelines
  • Oversee budgets, KPIs, and operational reporting
  • Support capital investment planning and execution
  • Drive standardization of processes and best practices

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Manufacturing should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years in manufacturing leadership roles
  • Experience overseeing plant or multi-site operations
  • Strong Lean / continuous improvement background
  • Proven ability to lead leaders and scale teams
  • Experience in industrial, aerospace, automotive, or metals manufacturing
  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills



Preferred:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Multi-site responsibility
  • Transformation or turnaround experience
