Job Description

This Director of Operations will be responsible for:

  • Leading multi-site manufacturing operations across locations
  • Driving operational excellence, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives
  • Overseeing production, quality, supply chain, and engineering
  • Setting and executing operational strategy aligned to business goals
  • Ensuring compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards
  • Coaching and developing plant leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Analyzing performance metrics to improve productivity and cost
  • Managing capital investments, automation, and facility upgrades
  • Championing safety, risk management, and compliance programs
  • Collaborating with executive leadership on growth initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Director of Operations will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10-15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • 5+ years leading multi-site operations
  • Aerospace or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
  • Background in precision machining or engineered products
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel ~30%
