Job Description

The Director of Operations will report into the Vice President and be responsible for:

  • Provide strategic leadership for global manufacturing operations, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Develop and execute long-term operational strategies that support business growth and profitability goals.
  • Establish manufacturing objectives and performance measures aligned with corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Lead operational optimization efforts with a strong focus on simplification, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Build and implement systems that drive operational excellence and sustainable business performance.
  • Improve on-time delivery performance, reduce backlogs, and increase overall productivity.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, HR, and Marketing leadership to drive cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote global best practice sharing and establish advanced operational standards across facilities.
  • Drive innovation through the implementation of new technologies and manufacturing advancements.
  • Lead and coordinate global operations projects and transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced education is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading complex manufacturing operations, supply chain, and procurement organizations.
  • Demonstrated success implementing lean, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence across global organizations and drive change effectively.
  • Bilingual capabilities are considered an advantage.
