Director of Operations - Litchfield, CT

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable business performance.
• Manage and develop departmental leaders while creating accountability and alignment across the organization.
• Establish operational metrics, performance standards, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate business processes and implement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee manufacturing, purchasing, parts, and inventory functions to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
• Develop, manage, and forecast operational budgets while supporting financial and business objectives.
• Lead efforts to reduce lead times, increase throughput, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
• Partner closely with engineering, technology, customer service, and operations teams to improve workflow and business processes.
• Communicate strategic initiatives, organizational changes, and company objectives across all operational groups.
• Support talent development, succession planning, hiring, coaching, and performance management activities.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.
