Job Description

  • Lead and drive overall operational performance across the manufacturing facility.
  • Develop and execute strategic operational roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage site performance related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
  • Oversee production, engineering, inventory management, and warehousing activities.
  • Partner with leadership teams across Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Commercial functions to achieve plant objectives.
  • Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and accountability measures across the organization.
  • Drive capacity planning and operational readiness to support future growth.
  • Ensure facilities, equipment, and manufacturing processes operate efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams and leadership talent.
  • Support both short-term execution and long-range strategic planning initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and customer focus.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience within medical device manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Additional exposure to precision metals, aerospace, automotive, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries will be considered.
  • Proven success leading large operational teams and developing high-performance cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing operational strategies and business plans.
  • Strong understanding of machining, fabrication, manufacturing processes, assembly operations, and production systems.
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, logistics, and operational resource management.
  • Working knowledge of P&L management and key operational drivers.
  • Familiarity with FDA GMP, ISO 13485, and other relevant quality and regulatory standards.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement expertise.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and day-to-day execution.
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
