With a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture, the Director of Preconstruction is empowered with both national resources and regional autonomy to deliver impactful results.Job DescriptionLead all phases of preconstruction as Director of Preconstruction from concept design through construction documentsManage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsDevelop conceptual estimates using current market data and cost trendsPerform value engineering, risk assessments, and constructability reviewsGenerate RFIs, qualifications, and assist in contract and schedule developmentOversee estimating operations across multiple teams as Director of PreconstructionEstablish bid strategies and participate in capital project bidsManage subcontractor relationships and lead project buyout processesSupport business development and procurement initiativesMaintain and organize cost data within internal databasesContribute to market research, labor conditions, and economic trend analysisAssist with revenue forecasting and implement process improvementsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
