Director of Preconstruction - Multifamily GC - South Shore MA

The Director of Preconstruction will be responsible for:

• Lead and oversee all estimating and preconstruction activities across the organization.
• Develop, mentor, and manage the estimating team while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Report directly to ownership and serve as a strategic advisor on project pursuits and company growth.
• Prepare and review conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and cost analyses for negotiated, hard bid, and design-build projects.
• Lead value engineering, constructability reviews, procurement planning, and subcontractor bid leveling.
• Develop preconstruction schedules, risk assessments, and cost control strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Partner closely with Operations, Project Management, and Business Development to ensure successful project transitions.
• Support business development initiatives by participating in client presentations, interviews, and pursuit strategies.
• Continuously evaluate market trends, subcontractor relationships, and pricing to maintain a competitive advantage.
