Job Description

The responsibilities of the Director of Preconstruction are:

  • Lead all preconstruction activities, including estimating, scheduling, and budgeting for projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare detailed cost analyses and provide value engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations during preconstruction phases.
  • Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies for upcoming projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the preconstruction team to meet project goals.
  • Present project proposals and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
