As a mid-sized organization, they are known for their commitment to delivering exceptional results and fostering a professional environment.Job DescriptionReporting to the Vice President of Construction, the Director of Project Management & Preconstruction will provide leadership across project delivery, preconstruction, financial performance, and team development. This role combines hands-on project oversight with broader departmental leadership.Lead the delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Act as the senior escalation point for project teams, supporting Project Managers across the portfolio.Manage and develop Project Managers while providing operational leadership to estimating, buyout, and scheduling functions.Oversee preconstruction activities, including estimating, scope development, budgeting, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy.Drive financial performance through budget management, forecasting, change order administration, risk mitigation, and margin protection.Establish and maintain project management standards, reporting procedures, and operational best practices across the organization.Champion schedule performance, quality assurance, safety excellence, and strong client relationships throughout project execution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
