EHS Director - Nuclear Power - Palm Springs, FL

In this role you will report directly into Senior Leadership and will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing the company's industrial safety management system.
• Establishing company-wide safety policies, procedures, work instructions, and performance metrics.
• Building and promoting a proactive safety culture that supports innovation and operational excellence.
• Performing Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and risk assessments for testing and manufacturing operations.
• Developing safety procedures for high-pressure systems, Lockout/Tagout programs, confined space entry, and energized work activities.
• Participating in engineering design reviews and evaluating engineering changes for safety impacts.
• Establishing emergency response plans, emergency shutdown procedures, and business continuity support processes.
• Coordinating safety readiness reviews and supporting commissioning of test and manufacturing equipment.
• Leading incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action programs, workplace inspections, and safety audits.
• Developing and delivering employee safety training programs while maintaining qualification and training records.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, EPA, and applicable state and local regulations.
• Building the industrial safety organization, coaching leaders on safety practices, and driving employee engagement in safety initiatives.
