Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and improve environmental, health, and safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Lead safety culture initiatives that drive employee engagement and accountability
  • Conduct facility inspections, audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
  • Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis activities
  • Develop corrective action plans and ensure successful implementation
  • Partner closely with HR, Operations, and leadership teams on training and compliance programs
  • Maintain OSHA logs, compliance documentation, permits, and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate environmental programs related to waste management, stormwater, air quality, and other regulated activities
  • Develop emergency preparedness plans and coordinate drills and response activities
  • Monitor EHS performance metrics and communicate results to leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement projects that strengthen operational and safety performance

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of EHS leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations
  • Demonstrated success influencing organizational culture and behavioral change
  • Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple departments
  • CSP certification preferred

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k), vacation, holidays, and sick time to eligible employees.
