They are committed to quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across their supply chain and manufacturing operations.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Manage assigned commodities and supplier relationships.Plan material purchases based on MRP requirements and internal requisitions.Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely material delivery.Monitor supplier performance and address supply chain issues.Resolve material discrepancies related to quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.Work closely with Program Management, Engineering, and Quality teams to support production requirements.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and cost reduction opportunities with suppliers.Coordinate the resolution of non-conforming materials, RMAs, and supplier corrective actions.Maintain purchasing metrics, status reports, and performance tracking tools.Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
