Job Description

The Engineering Manager will report directly into the President & CEO and be responsible for:

Lead, coach, and develop engineering, estimating, quality, and technical teams.
Drive manufacturing process improvements, productivity gains, quality enhancements, and cost reductions.
Oversee estimating activities, including cost analysis, quotations, and manufacturing feasibility reviews.
Support CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, process development, and manufacturing optimization efforts.
Manage quality systems and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific standards.
Partner with Operations, Sales, and Finance to support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Interface directly with customers regarding technical requirements, new product introductions, audits, and project execution.
Participate in capital planning, technology investments, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of engineering experience within a precision manufacturing environment.
Background in medical device, defense, aerospace, semiconductor, or other high-precision manufacturing industries preferred.
Prior leadership experience managing engineering, quality, estimating, or technical teams.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, GD&T, blueprint reading, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with quoting, estimating, manufacturing planning, and cost analysis.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certifications.
Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
