Job DescriptionThe Engineering Manager will:Lead, mentor, and develop engineering, estimating, quality, programming, and technical teams.Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.Partner with operations, sales, and finance teams to align engineering priorities with business objectives.Oversee engineering activities supporting precision machining, manufacturing processes, tooling, fixturing, automation, and process optimization.Develop and standardize manufacturing processes, documentation, work instructions, and technical standards.Troubleshoot production, quality, and process challenges while implementing sustainable solutions.Lead the estimating function, ensuring accurate quotations, costing models, and manufacturing feasibility assessments.Manage quality systems and ensure compliance with relevant industry and customer standards.Drive root cause investigations, corrective actions, preventative actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Participate as a member of the senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, KPI management, budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment decisions.Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, supporting technical reviews, audits, product launches, and project execution.Lead new product introduction activities, process transfers, validation programs, and successful production launches.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
