Employees who demonstrate initiative and leadership are given opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility within the organization.Job DescriptionSafety LeadershipDevelop and lead comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.Maintain regulatory compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and related standards.Drive safety initiatives that improve employee engagement and accountability.Serve as a key resource during regulatory inspections and audits.Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis efforts.Environmental ComplianceManage environmental permits, reporting requirements, and compliance programs.Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater compliance.Maintain documentation, SOPs, and emergency response procedures.Support environmental and regulatory readiness programs.Training & Employee DevelopmentDesign and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.Build certification and competency-based training systems.Ensure ongoing compliance through regular education and communication programs.Continuous ImprovementEstablish EHS KPIs and performance dashboards.Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.Partner with leadership to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.Promote long-term culture change through visible leadership and employee engagement.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
