Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for sitework, excavation, grading, utilities, paving, and related civil construction scopes.
  • Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
  • Develop accurate project estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.
  • Analyze project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as required.
  • Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and company leadership during the bidding process.
  • Maintain current pricing databases and historical cost information.
  • Assist with contract review and project handoff following award.
  • Track bid results and market trends to improve estimating accuracy.
