Job Description

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather necessary project details.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to determine materials, labor, and time needed.
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals and bids for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
  • Monitor market trends and material costs to ensure estimates remain competitive.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation for all estimates and project bids.
  • Provide ongoing support during the project lifecycle to ensure cost alignment with estimates.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to address questions and provide clarifications.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

  • Experience with cost estimation in the construction industry.
