Job Description

  • Review project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for complex commercial construction projects.
  • Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
  • Evaluate historical data and market trends to improve accuracy and refine future estimates.
  • Present estimates and cost proposals to leadership and stakeholders for approval and negotiation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrating extensive experience estimating for education and/or municipal construction projects.
  • Possessing strong analytical skills to evaluate project plans, costs, and timelines accurately.
  • Excelling in communication and collaboration with clients, contractors, and project teams.
  • Displaying proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the construction industry.
  • Bringing a track record of delivering accurate, competitive estimates that align with project objectives.
