With a strong backlog, repeat business, and opportunities to support nationally significant projects, the company offers stability, growth, and exposure to unique construction challenges.Job DescriptionThe Estimator will be responsible for:Preparing detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for commercial and federal construction projects.Analyzing drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope, pricing, and risk factors.Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive and accurate bids.Collaborating with project managers, operations teams, and leadership throughout the preconstruction process.Participating in bid reviews, value engineering exercises, and project strategy discussions.Maintaining current knowledge of market conditions, labor costs, material pricing, and industry trends.Supporting multiple pursuits simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and submission requirements are met.Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and estimating best practices to improve bid success rates.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
