      • Team Size: 25
      • Annual Revenue: 105M booked in for the next year and half
    • Project locations: Greater Boston (north and southshore all over really)
      • Somerville, Brighton, Braintree, Quincy, Seaport, Back bay, Everett
    • Overview of the business: Founded in 2012
    • Projects: Commercial & Residential- Multifamily, Schools, Retail, Restaurants, education centers, etc.
      • New construction, Renos & Tenant Fit outs
    • Sells of the business: Currently growing with a very strong pipeline. Healthy mix of renos and ground up projects



Job Description

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals.
  • Source and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Track and update cost data to maintain accuracy in estimates.
  • Assist in identifying potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare bid proposals and submit them within required deadlines.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

  • Experience with construction cost estimation in the property industry.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
