With more than 20 years of success, a strong federal project pipeline, and a collaborative culture focused on employee development, they offer long-term stability and significant career growth opportunities.Job DescriptionThe responsibilities of an Estimator:Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for federal construction projectsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate pricingBuild and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors throughout the DC marketSolicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bidsSupport preconstruction efforts and participate in bid strategy discussionsCollaborate closely with the Director of Estimating and project teams throughout the estimating processMentor and help develop a junior estimator on the teamAssist in identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering optionsEnsure estimates are completed accurately and within deadline requirementsUtilize Bluebeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Office to support estimating activitiesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
