Known for financial stability, repeat business, and a commitment to quality, they offer employees the opportunity to work on challenging projects while building long-term careers.Job DescriptionPrepare detailed construction cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated opportunities.Review plans, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate pricing strategies.Perform quantity takeoffs and establish labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals.Analyze project risks, market conditions, and historical pricing data to improve estimate accuracy.Coordinate with operations and project management teams to ensure alignment on project scope and execution.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs to gather critical project information.Develop and maintain bid packages, cost databases, and estimating records.Prepare change order pricing and budget revisions as required.Track bid results and identify trends to improve estimating performance and win rates.Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners.Contribute to strategic bid planning and project selection initiatives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
