Job Description

The Estimator - Healthcare will:

  • Support preconstruction and estimating efforts on commercial construction projects.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, bid packages, and cost analysis.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors during the estimating process.
  • Contribute to projects across healthcare, education, hospitality, senior living, commercial, renovation, and ground-up construction sectors.
  • Help develop accurate budgets, cost estimates, and pricing strategies.
  • Learn industry best practices under experienced preconstruction leadership.
  • Utilize estimating and construction management software to support project pursuits.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator - Healthcare should have:

  • 0-3 years of construction-related experience.
  • Experience may include internships, co-ops, field experience, subcontractor backgrounds, design-side exposure, or commercial construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or estimating software is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work from either the Concord, MA or Middletown, CT office.
