Job Description

The Estimator will play a critical role within the preconstruction team, supporting the accurate pricing and successful delivery of multifamily renovation projects.

  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for renovation projects
  • Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements
  • Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Develop conceptual and hard bid estimates for interior and exterior renovation scopes
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
  • Collaborate closely with project management, operations, and field teams throughout the preconstruction process
  • Maintain accurate cost databases and support multiple active pursuits simultaneously

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have experience within multifamily renovation, rehabilitation, or value-add construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, labor, and subcontractor management
  • Experience preparing detailed estimates and bid packages
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
