They have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use construction projects ranging from approximately $20M to over $100M in value.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for luxury residential and multifamily construction projects.Analyze construction documents, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate budgets.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.Assist with quantity take-offs, bid preparation, and proposal development.Collaborate closely with project management, operations, and preconstruction teams throughout the estimating process.Maintain estimating databases and support continuous improvement of estimating procedures.Participate in value engineering exercises and cost-saving recommendations.Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe Successful Candidate2+ years of estimating experience within the construction industry.Experience estimating luxury residential construction projects is required.Exposure to high-rise multifamily projects valued at $20M+ is highly preferred.Junior candidates with limited estimating scope will be considered if they demonstrate strong aptitude and a willingness to learn.Mid-level candidates should possess hands-on experience with BuildingConnected and Procore.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency with estimating software and construction technology platforms.Stable work history with demonstrated career progression.
