All work will be within a 4-5 county range of St. Louis

Job Description

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine project scopes and requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
  • Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate and current pricing information.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost reports to stakeholders and management teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender submissions.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with initial estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and reliable resources.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-10+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
  • Previous project experience from $5M-$20M
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in estimating software including Procore and Planswift
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Driven, ambitious mindset with a desire for career progression
