Job Description

As the Estimator, you will report into senior estimating leadership and support the preconstruction team across multiple active pursuits.

  • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family projects
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
  • Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking
  • Assist with bid leveling, scope reviews, and pricing analysis
  • Review plans, specifications, and addenda to ensure full scope coverage
  • Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information
  • Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in commercial or multi-family construction estimating
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and take-offs
  • Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel in particular)
  • Ability to analyze subcontractor bids and support pricing evaluations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within preconstruction
