Job Description

  • Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
  • Develop conceptual budgets and bid proposals.
  • Solicit and analyze subcontractor quotations.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities.
  • Maintain current market pricing and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders.
  • Support bid administration and project cost tracking.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
  • Background in general contracting or commercial construction.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
