We are seeking a detail-oriented Building and Construction Estimator to join a dynamic team in King of Prussia, PA. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting successful project execution. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to develop competitive bids and ensure project profitability.

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for prospective projects.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Develop material, labor, and equipment cost projections.
  • Identify potential project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during project planning.
  • Maintain accurate estimating records and databases.
  • Support the bid submission process and client communications.
  • Review project outcomes to improve future estimating accuracy.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of estimating experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
