Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and production analyses.
  • Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
  • Develop budgets, schedules, and bid strategies.
  • Identify risks, assumptions, and value engineering opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and operations teams.
  • Support preconstruction activities and client interactions.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Background in earthwork, utilities, roadway, infrastructure, or site development projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
