Job Description

  • Manage the Quality Control Program for federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Ensure all project work complies with contract specifications, plans, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections, manage testing activities, and maintain project quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with project management, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Lead quality control meetings and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
  • Utilize USACE quality control processes and software platforms to track compliance and project documentation.
  • Support multiple project locations as needed throughout the DC Metro area and East Coast region.
  • Participate in project audits, punch-list activities, and final acceptance processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on assigned projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7-10+ years of experience as a Quality Control Manager within the construction industry.
  • Strong experience supporting federal construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of USACE quality control standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $2M-$30M.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites throughout the DC Metro region, Carolinas, and Florida when required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality management principles and federal project requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
