Job Description

Inventory Planning & Financial Analysis

  • Lead inventory-focused financial planning activities, including forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Analyze inventory performance, product sell-through, and operational metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain inventory planning models to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding inventory investments and optimization strategies.



Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Support demand forecasting processes by modeling sales trends, inventory requirements, production plans, and allocation strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate sales targets, inventory levels, and replenishment needs.
  • Monitor inventory performance and forecast accuracy to drive continuous improvement initiatives.



Purchase Order & Supply Chain Management

  • Manage purchase order planning processes and coordinate closely with Product and Supply Chain teams.
  • Serve as a primary finance liaison with manufacturing and operational partners.
  • Track inbound inventory shipments and ensure inventory is properly allocated across warehouse and fulfillment locations.
  • Support inventory flow management across ERP systems and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).



Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Create and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline forecasting, reporting, and inventory planning processes.
  • Participate in special projects focused on scaling financial and operational processes as the organization grows.

The Successful Applicant

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, inventory planning, demand planning, supply chain finance, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience developing financial, inventory, or forecasting models.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.



Preferred

  • Experience within consumer products, retail, eCommerce, or direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses.
  • Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems such as NetSuite, Xero, Xorosoft, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of inventory management principles including purchase order planning, lead times, safety stock, forecasting, and 3PL operations.
  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations or emerging brands.
