Job Description

  • Analyze and improve finance, accounting, and reporting processes for private equity and private debt funds.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technology solutions and system enhancements.
  • Work with finance, operations, technology teams, and fund administrators to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
  • Help automate reconciliations, improve data quality, and strengthen financial controls and reporting processes.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • 5-8 years of Finance Analyst or Operations Analyst experience within financial services, with private equity or private debt experience required
  • Strong knowledge of private markets fund accounting, including NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, management fees, and investor reporting.
  • Experience with fund accounting or portfolio management systems such as Allvue, Investran, Geneva, Yardi, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and databases, with Python skills (Pandas, PySpark) preferred for data analysis and automation.
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, including financial modeling, Power Query, and VBA.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations, technology teams, and senior leadership.
