Job Description

Reporting to senior field operations leadership, the General Superintendent will provide oversight of project execution, field operations, and superintendent development across a large geographic region.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Superintendents and field personnel across multiple active projects.
  • Drive project success through effective scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure consistent execution of safety programs, quality standards, and operational best practices.
  • Partner with project management teams to support planning, execution, and project delivery.
  • Oversee workforce performance management, coaching, succession planning, and team development.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address operational challenges.
  • Promote technology adoption and standardized field processes across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

For the General Superintendent we are seeking:

  • 15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience.
  • Diverse ground-up construction experience across multiple project types and asset classes.
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects, teams, and geographic regions.
  • Strong expertise in scheduling, budgeting, staffing, safety management, and quality control.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop field teams.
  • Experience handling employee performance management and workforce planning.
  • Advanced technology proficiency and comfort working with construction management software platforms.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively on a weekly basis.
