Job Description

The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing field operations across multiple projects or large-scale builds while ensuring successful delivery from start to finish.

  • Lead all field operations as a General Superintendent across multiple job sites or major projects
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain high-quality construction standards
  • Manage project scheduling, logistics, and coordination in complex urban environments
  • Supervise and mentor project-level superintendents and field teams
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive proactive problem-solving and identify risks early in the construction process
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with contract documents and specifications
  • Lead regular meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Oversee documentation and reporting using platforms such as Procore
  • Resolve complex field challenges and maintain strong client satisfaction
  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight as a General Superintendent across active projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience in a Senior Superintendent or General Superintendent role
  • Experience managing large-scale or multiple concurrent projects ($15M+)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and project stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong decision-making ability
