My client is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout the Southeast. Job Description

  • Manage daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure safety regulations and protocols are strictly followed at all times.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high construction standards.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and manage site resources efficiently.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

The Successful Applicant

  • Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects
  • Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred
  • Experience within banking, retail, restaurant, healthcare, medical, or similar commercial sectors preferred
  • Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience using construction management software (Procore or similar platforms preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or scheduling software
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project assignments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
