MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantSignificant experience in financial reporting within a broker-dealer or regulated financial services environmentStrong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC / FINRA regulatory requirementsSeries 99 or Series 27 licence strongly preferredExperience with Net Capital rules and broker-dealer financial filings (e.g. FOCUS) requiredPrior leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teamsExposure to Accounting Policy or technical accounting matters is highly desirableCPA or equivalent qualification preferredSkills & AttributesStrong technical accounting and regulatory reporting expertiseDetail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-driven mindsetEffective communicator, comfortable engaging with regulators and senior stakeholdersAbility to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrategic thinker with strong process improvement capabilitiesWhat's on OfferThis is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to shape and enhance a firm's financial reporting and regulatory framework.
