Job Description

  • Oversee daily field operations on large-scale commercial, healthcare, and life science construction projects
  • Lead and manage the Self-Perform Operations (SPO) team, ensuring quality execution of scopes like concrete, steel, drywall, and finishes
  • Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across all phases of the build
  • Coordinate and direct internal crews and subcontractors to maintain project momentum
  • Maintain strong communication with project managers, estimators, and field staff
  • Contribute to strategic project delivery aligned with company growth in the Indianapolis region
  • Utilize company tools and systems to manage field operations
  • Foster a collaborative, loyal team environment with a focus on long-term development
  • Represent the company's values of transparency, professionalism, and calculated project selection

The Successful Applicant

  • 5 years of experience working on commercial, healthcare, or life science construction projects
  • Demonstrated success managing projects valued at $20M+ from start to finish
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills across field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of safety, quality control, and schedule management
  • Familiarity with construction management tools such as procore
  • Clear, consistent communication style and ability to drive field progress
  • Demonstrates stable work history long tenures preferred; frequent job changes are a red flag
  • Comfortable working in a transparent, growth-focused environment with loyal crews and repeat clients
