Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsEstablished contractor with 30 years in business.Contracted pipeline is full!About Our ClientDoing business since '91--established heavy highway and site work contractor in Greater Philadelphia, experienced in DOT projects as well as for Higher Education environments.Job DescriptionManage day-to-day field operations for heavy highway and civil construction projects.Lead, coordinate, and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with DOT specifications, project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking productivity and progress against milestones.Conduct daily planning meetings and coordinate activities with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.Monitor manpower, equipment utilization, and material needs to maximize efficiency.Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards.Identify and resolve field issues, constructability concerns, and schedule impacts.Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and project documentation.Participate in project planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.Build and maintain strong relationships with DOT representatives, inspectors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful Applicant7-10+ years of Heavy Highway Construction experience with a strong focus on DOT projects.Proven experience managing roadway, highway, bridge, paving, utility, sitework, or civil infrastructure projects.Experience delivering projects for DOT will get priority!Must have direct field supervision experience leading a team of at least 8 or more field personnel on active construction projects.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews, subcontractors, schedules, and equipment simultaneously.Thorough knowledge of DOT specifications, construction methods, quality control requirements, and safety regulations.Strong understanding of project scheduling, production tracking, and field planning.Experience working closely with owners, inspectors, and government agencies.Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.OSHA 30 and Valid Driver's License REQUIRED*What's on OfferCompetitive salary between $103,500 and $126,500.Company-provided truck and Gas/EZPass.Healthcare fully paid for self and dependents.Retirement savings plan.Interested?
