Heavy Highway Superintendent

• Manage day-to-day field operations for heavy highway and civil construction projects.
• Lead, coordinate, and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with DOT specifications, project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking productivity and progress against milestones.
• Conduct daily planning meetings and coordinate activities with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
• Monitor manpower, equipment utilization, and material needs to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues, constructability concerns, and schedule impacts.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and project documentation.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with DOT representatives, inspectors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
