Interior Superintendent - Office Construction - DC Metro

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Enforce safety protocols across all trades and subcontractors, promptly addressing and documenting incidents when required.
• Coordinate daily site operations, communicate priorities to field teams, and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Partner with Project Managers to develop and execute project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively resolve challenges.
• Oversee installation sequencing and construction methods to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Manage punch list activities and project closeout, ensuring seamless turnover and owner satisfaction.
• Review scopes of work, identify potential risks early, and minimise unnecessary change orders through proactive planning.
• Organise labour, equipment, materials, temporary facilities, and site logistics to support project success.
• Track long-lead procurement items and coordinate expedited solutions when necessary.
