My client is seeking an Interior Superintendent to oversee commercial interior renovation and upfit projects throughout the Charlotte market. Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Supervise crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during construction.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are available as needed to avoid delays.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project updates and site activities.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience serving as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar field leadership role
  • Background in commercial interiors, tenant improvements, fit-outs, or upfit projects strongly preferred
  • Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining project schedules
  • Ability to lead projects with confidence and strong field presence
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and willing to wear multiple hats when needed
  • Local to the Charlotte, NC area
