Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Investments, the Investment & Development Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating opportunities, supporting development initiatives, and assisting with investment execution across a diverse real estate portfolio.

  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate development and investment opportunities.
  • Perform underwriting analysis and support investment recommendations through detailed market and financial research.
  • Assist in the negotiation, coordination, and execution of transactions, including leases, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews, analysing operating statements, development budgets, contracts, and third-party reports.
  • Monitor project performance by comparing business plans, budgets, costs, rental assumptions, and operating results.
  • Participate in planning, design, and development activities for new projects and redevelopment initiatives.
  • Support construction and project delivery efforts through coordination with consultants, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

For the Investment & Development Analyst we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum two years of commercial real estate, underwriting, acquisitions, development, asset management, or investment analysis experience.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Argus or similar real estate valuation software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, market analysis, and transaction processes.
  • Exceptional analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
