Job Description

The Junior Estimator - HVAC will:

  • Prepare accurate HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and mechanical estimates for projects ranging from $5M-$20M.
  • Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive proposals.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing.
  • Assist with bid submissions, scope reviews, and project handoff to operations teams.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and cost forecasting.
  • Support estimating efforts for federal, healthcare, military, municipal, research, and public-sector construction projects.
  • Work from the company's Norwell, MA office alongside an experienced construction team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Estimator - HVAC should have:

  • 1+ years of HVAC, mechanical, or construction estimating experience.
  • Experience estimating mechanical, HVAC, piping, and/or sheet metal scopes.
  • Background working on public, municipal, state, or government-funded construction projects.
  • Federal project experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and bidding processes.
  • Procore experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with estimating software and digital takeoff tools is a plus.
