A general contractor that started in '87 as a carpentry and drywall specialty subcontractor.

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine materials and labor requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents.
  • Track changes in project scope and adjust estimates accordingly.
  • Maintain documentation of estimates and related project records.
  • Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing information.

A successful Junior Estimator should have:

  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Familiarity with estimating software or tools.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
