Job Description

The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the lead onsite Superintendent for a 250-unit multifamily development.
  • Directing all day-to-day field operations, subcontractor activities and construction schedules.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinating closely with project teams, ownership groups and local authorities.
  • Managing site logistics, inspections and compliance throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Leading and mentoring field personnel while maintaining a productive jobsite culture.
  • Overseeing precast installation activities where applicable.
  • Driving project execution from site mobilization through project completion.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience leading multifamily construction projects as the primary onsite Superintendent.
  • Strong track record delivering ground-up apartment, mixed-use or similar residential developments.
  • Experience with precast construction methods is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Maryland construction practices, permitting processes and local jurisdictions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, subcontractors and field teams effectively.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be based in Maryland or possess significant experience working within the Maryland market.
  • Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety, quality and schedule performance.
