Job Description

  • Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure products and manufacturing processes meet customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Review drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, systems, and processes.
  • Create training materials and conduct quality-related training sessions for employees.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives and ensure vendor compliance with established quality requirements.
  • Analyse quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality evaluation methods, control systems, and inspection protocols.
  • Perform inspections using a variety of measurement and inspection equipment to verify product conformity.
  • Serve as a quality resource across multiple departments and help drive a culture of quality and accountability.
  • Work independently to identify issues, solve problems, and support organisational quality objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
  • Experience mentoring, training, or providing guidance to team members; prior leadership or project lead experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
  • Experience working with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
