This individual will oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Job Description

  • Manage all field operations from project startup through closeout.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Drive project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Maintain jobsite safety and enforce company safety standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work meets specifications.
  • Lead subcontractor meetings and daily planning activities.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact project performance.
  • Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning.
  • Support project documentation, inspections, and project turnover activities.
  • Mentor field staff and promote a positive team environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead / Senior Superintendent should have:

  • 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience leading K-12, municipal, healthcare, or similar commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and site coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Proven track record delivering projects safely and on schedule.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Stable career progression within commercial construction.
