Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead all field operations for large commercial construction projects
    • Develop and drive project schedules, including short-interval planning
    • Manage site safety programs and promote a culture of zero incidents
    • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, self-perform crews, and field personnel
    • Oversee jobsite logistics, sequencing, manpower planning, and daily operations
    • Ensure quality standards are achieved throughout all phases of construction
    • Maintain compliance with drawings, specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and resolve field challenges before they impact schedule or cost
    • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
    • Lead construction meetings and communicate project progress to internal and external teams
    • Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and emerging field leaders
    • Drive project completion while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

A Great Candidate Must Have:

    • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction field leadership, including experience as a Senior Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or Superintendent responsible for complex, large-scale projects
    • Proven ability to lead all aspects of field operations, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, manpower planning, quality control, safety management, logistics, and project execution from groundbreaking through closeout
    • Strong background managing large commercial, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, mission critical, industrial, corporate, or technically complex construction projects
    • Demonstrated success building strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams while consistently delivering outstanding customer experiences
    • Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, safety, quality control, documentation, and risk management
    • Experience mentoring field staff and developing high-performing project teams
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
    • A collaborative, safety-focused, detail-oriented leader with exceptional communication skills and a desire to continue growing within a top-tier commercial construction organization
