Job Description

As a Lead Superintendent - Construction - White Plains, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading all field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects
  • Managing and mentoring Assistant Superintendents and site teams
  • Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Driving project schedules and ensuring milestone completion
  • Coordinating site logistics, deliveries, and workforce planning
  • Overseeing wood-frame construction from foundation through turnover
  • Managing quality control and ensuring work meets project specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project requirements
  • Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams
  • Conducting weekly progress meetings and project planning sessions
  • Managing inspections, testing, and agency approvals
  • Maintaining daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
  • Leading punch-list completion and project closeout activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Active NYC DOB Superintendent License
  • 10+ years of Superintendent experience in construction
  • Extensive experience leading ground-up multifamily construction projects
  • Strong wood-frame construction experience, including podium and wrap-style developments
  • Experience managing projects valued at $20M+ preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics, and scheduling
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple field teams
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Project, and related construction software
  • OSHA 30 Certification required
