We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent - Construction - White Plains to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout Westchester County and the surrounding region. Job Description

As a Lead Superintendent - Construction - White Plains, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading all field operations on ground-up multifamily construction projects
  • Managing and mentoring Assistant Superintendents and field staff
  • Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Driving project schedules and ensuring milestone completion
  • Overseeing wood-frame construction from foundations through occupancy
  • Coordinating site logistics, manpower planning, and material deliveries
  • Managing quality control and ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Leading jobsite safety initiatives and enforcing OSHA standards
  • Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams
  • Reviewing construction documents, schedules, and subcontractor work plans
  • Managing inspections, testing, and municipal approvals
  • Maintaining daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
  • Leading punch-list completion and project turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of Superintendent experience in construction
  • Extensive experience managing ground-up multifamily developments
  • Strong wood-frame construction experience, including podium and wrap-style buildings
  • Experience leading projects valued at $25M+ preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and field teams
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Procore and construction management software
  • OSHA 30 Certification required
